kwentong taxi pa rin.. one time I wanna go to Carrefour. I told the driver Carrefour pls..he can't understand me..I spelled it for him in a piece of paper..still he seem not to understand me..it was my first Sunday in Bangkok and I still am not so familiar with the places so i'm getting a bit frustrated. The driver want me out of the taxi cos he cannot figure out the place i'm going. I called my ofcmate through celfone that instant and they talked until finally the driver was laughing...ah...Kafu (Carrefour) in Lama 4 (Rama IV). So ako pa ang tinuruan nya at ako pa din pala ang mali ang pronunciation...hay! |

Notice how familiar are these words in Thai and Tagalog. You can easily remember them. Thai - Tagalog nok (bird) - manok (chicken) naw, now, nao (cold) - maginaw (cold) ta (eye) - mata (eye) nga (sesame seed) - linga (sesame seed) kin (eat) - kain (eat) |

If you are in Bangkok, do not stay outside. If you are at work, do it well. It is better to go home right away. Just stay at home is better than going out for fun. The reason is to stay safe while TODAY everywhere is traffic jam. Tell your friends everyone.
what about my case sir ajarn_ph..... i'm a housewife??

i beg to disagree. safe? who told you that you are safer at home compared to going out for fun? going out once in a while is the best. if you go home right away after work then it's a boring routine. i would rather enjoy life and die as a happy man than to bore myself to death. the word SAFE is no longer safe nowadays. |

I agree po..i think there is no safe place in the world today. kahit sa bahay ka you cannot guarantee 100% safety. Kahit pa nasa office ka, di rin safe. Look at World Trade Center..who will think na isang regular working day would turn out to be one of the biggest disaster in the history of mankind? I think going out once in a while is not bad at all.

agree ako dyan RB. let's just have fun. kc pag worried ka lagi papangit at tatanda ka nyan ajarn_ph. relax your body. got to a massage parlor after that watch a movie at MBK. Be cool after all we are just humans with a limited life span. So make the most out of it while you still have time to enjoy being human. Don't be so stiff.
