LOL. Thanks Mr. D. Pearl. Anyway, who's our 2008 Captain of the Arc? About Spongklong, He has a lot of reason why he can't make some 3-point basket and one of that is his injury.

Wow....... 6-0. Isn't that amazing?
Tsaiyo's first round was an amazing display of talents.
Players really proved that they can win any games if they will play together. One spirit, one team and one
aim. Tsaiyo holds the number 1 spot this first elimination round.
In fact I received a lot of personal messages regarding about Tsaiyo team.
Some are dreadful statements and questions about Tsaiyo.
One of the question that I can remember right now was, why Tsaiyo team has a very favorable schedule?
The letter also stated that it should be fair when it comes to scheduling.
I responsed to that statement and I quote
" Why are you asking this question? "
" Why? Did Tsaiyo beat your team so badly?"
" Maybe this year is for Tsaiyo."
But this person was very persistent he sent me another personal message and it said....
" Hey Steven, remember that this league was owned by Tsaiyo. "
" Remember the last time when your team was playing against them. "
" Did you notice something? "
" Come on Steven you know what I mean. You're old enough to know it! "
I didn't response to his statement because I'm not in the position to answer them.
So I ignored it. But a lot of messages came. Some are in favor of Berks, Repapips, Yanhee and Even TGIS.
Anyway, the game is still on. I remember one coach told me this line.... The ball is round and
everything is possible. Maybe this week its ours and next week its not. We should prepare for the
worst to come.
For Tsaiyo: " All I say is this. Congratulations indeed. Continue your game and keep up the good work. "
Good luck on the second round.
Just keep the Faith!

Spongklong, pare ko! I am proud of you! And to Pareng Rex, as always, congrats! Steve, ako rin daming kong email's at PM's. Pero sabi ko, laruin niyo na lang ang laro ninyo. And I can't even start to give them an advice for one because I was not there during their trainings. Two, di ko kabisado ang laro nila and their strengths inside the court. Three, hindi ko na nasusundan ang liga. Ti ano na lang ini?

There is only one thing I can tell you Steven.. Naging part ka ng TSAIYO in some part of ur life in basketball , and I know in FACT na all losers are like this always, sour graping... Let me tell you this kung di kayo masaya sa isang liga you have the rights na di sumali .. Its your choice and no one can control you na di sumali, now to tell na dahil si REX ang me paliga kaya ganon ang status ng standing ng TSAIYO is totally RUBBISH..
Saka lahat nmn ng sumasali sa liga they can always file a complaint sa group ng nagpapaliga, so GROW up kung sino man ung nag memessage sayo Steven dahil if your are not happy with the game then just sit back, relax and let the shiit hit you. ..... at the end of the day you are just showing the crab mentality of a typical Pinoy. Thanks for the response JUN Ginto.
Yeah, you're right i was a member of Tsaiyo and i had no complaint against that.
That's why I'm so happy what Tsaiyo team achieved.
And I know that you will continue your journey tell the end of the league.
Well, Master J also received a lot of personal messages but he doesn't wanna post here either.
People are people. Sour graping and jealousy are part of this league I guess.
So you better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout i'm telling you why.
Tsaiyo team is coming to town.

To add. I remember when SP started winning the tournament here in Thailand a few years back. I heared so much talk about the team. Blah, blah, blah. I thought to myself, well, "they are not against us, but instead they are only for themselves." And if these people someday come to me asking for help, as long as I am able to do so, why not? That's why I don't want to post their thoughts here Champ. Because it's theirs and I respect them. And yes, because they came here with so much respect in their pockets. And with that attitude, I won't be surprise if these people wins the Championships. I believe it's their 'Attitude of Gratitude' that is going to HELP them. But then again, I've been wrong in the past.

" Rex ( Tsaiyo team ) Profile and Stats " Who is Rex in and outside the court? I've known Rex almost half a decade. He's a basketball player by nature. I fact he really loves basketball. Rex was the mythical 5 player last league. He's the founder of Tsaiyo. He organized this league for sake of Filipinos who love and enjoy basketball. Rex is a versatile person he can play a lot of sports. He has been playing basketball since he was a kid. He's an exceptional basketball player. He can play in different position like shooting guard, small forward and even power forward. Rex shooting improved almost every league. I was shocked when I came back and I saw Rex shooting beyond the arc. There was this game that his shooting percentage reach up to 90%. That was an amazing display of shooting skills. Rex exposure in basketball helped his game a lot. He's this person that when there's a basketball league, he'll jump into it. In fact Rex was playing two leagues last year and early this year. One in Pattaya and the other is in Bangkok. Rex is the replica of Tsaiyo team. He helped and loved his teammates very much. Inside and outside the court. He is this road runner inside the court. I don't know where did he get all his energy. He can run very fast. He can even play from start to finish. That's why when there's a fast break you can see him catching the ball. He can do some acrobatic lay-up. He always fakes to make sure that his way is wide open and this guy loves to pass the ball. Who is Rex outside the court? Well, he's enthusiastic and highly motivated. He is a well-adjusted person. This guy likes to collect basketball shoes. In fact he has this two big closets of basketball shoes. He always wear new pair of basketball shoes every league. His NBA idol is Tracy Mcgraddy. He is a very friendly kind of person and he loves his friend very much. He's also very helpful. Actually, he helped a lot of people here in Bangkok. He has a positive influence on the teams atmosphere. He is a preeminent teacher as well. That's why he is the Speedy Munificent TREX . Go Go Go.... Speedy Munificent Trex or SMT.

"Saturday's Schedule" (06/09/08) ( Hua-mark Gymnasium ) First game 6:45p.m Yanhee(4-2) vs. TGIS(3-3)
Yanhee will face TGIS for the second round. And the question is. Can TGIS reclaim its loses in first the
round? TGIS proved that they can beat Repapips in a seal game. I think they'll play firmly in the second
round. On the contrary, Yanhee will perform its finest game. Yanhee beat TGIS in the first round with an
immense game. But still the ball is round and its hard to say who's gonna win on Saturday. This should be
a close game that we can see.
Second game 8:15p.m. Berks(6-1) vs. Pidpat(1-5)
Berks will continue its voyage and will demonstrates its strength and aptitude. The question is.
Does Berks team still capable of winning? Is it still in one piece?
On the opposing team, Pid-Pat is still struggling to fix its mismatches. This is their last game to join the semis. If they'll be defeated tomorrow, well then, they'll be playing without a decoration. I hope not!
"Sunday's Schedule" (24/08/08) ( Hua-mark Gymnasium ) First game 6:45p.m Pid-Pat(0-6) vs. Tsaiyo(7-0) It's a rest day for Tsaiyo. But they'll make sure to achieve the win. Because every game for
Tsaiyo is significant in order to have the twice to beat advantage.
Second game 8:15p.m. NKPJ vs. Repapips
Repapips are showing some weaknesses in their game. Their last 3 games was a mess.
Can Repapips prove that they're still strong and intact?
Each game for Repapips is also very essential. They must regain the number 4 or 3 spot in order to play
the semis.
On the other team. NKPJ will play their game and they don't care about the numbers but they do care
of winning. One win for NKPJ is like a championship game for them. Because they are playing all their best
and talent. So one win or winning is very vital for them.
Good Luck! Note: This article contains some photos but you can't see them if you don't register.

Yanhee accidentally lost a game against Pid-Pat.
Yanhee had been disqualified due to surpassing the maximum line-up. According to the officials of this league, each team should have a minimum of 8 players and maximum of 12 players in their own designated line-up. And a soon as the league started there will be no changing or swapping of players. But the Yanhee team exceeded the maximum requirement and that was the problem.
The management, coaches and players of Yanhee was very displease with this disqualification. One player informed us that, It wasn't their fault. He said.... They let us play with this line-up in the first round so we thought that everything is still the same and now they're gonna disqualified us. It sounds so unfair that was this player's reaction.
Yanhee really needs this win. The league is in the second round now and every win is a big changes to the team. The officials of this league is still investigating the situation. And they assured the fans, expactators and teams that this incident wont happen again.
Well, on the other hand Pid-Pat will play against the number 1 team Tsaiyo. That is today Sunday, September 7, 2008 in Hua-mark gym. And in the Second game. It'll be Repapips versus NKPJ.
Good Luck!

steve, actually to this matter about yanhees disqualification is not about exceeding the number of players in the line up, it's about the players played in that single game, almost all teams have more than 12 players in their line up, but in the rules of basketball only 12 players is allowed to play in a game, in this case the yanhee team exceeded the number of players play during that game... if the player who told you that it's not their fault because the officials let them play during the 1st rnd i think he's wrong..i think he did not know that only 12 players can play during a game eventhough you have more than 12 players during that game..that's the rule in basketball and i think you know that..
i think yanhee knows this rule..

until now ba di pa tapos yang issue na yan... IN the first place kung di nila tanggap ung decision na forfeit ung game then they should not play the game n lang. Anyway congrats sa PIDTAT for a wonderful performance last night. The team deserves to be recognize dahil sa team effort nila. And for TSAIYO its ok at least better to loose sa elimination than sa semi or sa finals.
Even in the first round I notice na maganda ang team work and team attitude ng PIDTAT dahil never say die and continues ang pagtakbo nila.. so sa PIDTAT job well done na matalo nyo ang leading team. To TSAIYO its time to raise the game higher and more aggresiveness ...

I'm sorry Newbie TA but you sound like a quest. Hey, we are raising this issue because people want some clarification. They want to know what really happened. They don't wanna pick side they want to enjoy. How can this people enjoy if there is some unfinished business in the league. Clarification mate clarification. Like what D-pearl did. I really appreciate that. Thanks for that D-pearl. At-least funs and expectators will know that this is not just a monkey's ass. So to all teams around there. Make sure that you follow the Bangkok or Basketball rules and regulation so that you can avoid disqualification.
To Newbie TA. Hey dude kindly observe your manners. It's kinda itchy. You know what I mean. Because this league is not just for one team only. This league is for the Filipinos who are playing, watching, expecting and even sacrificing their time in order to entertain their fellow Filipinos here in Bangkok.
Deng Man. Please don't spoil my night.
I know who you are TA....

" Sunny ( Berks team ) Profile and Stats " Who is Sunny in and outside the court? I've known Sunny since 2005. He isn't a basketball player by nature. He is a volleyball player. But because of his height and jumping ability, basketball is his best option. Sunny is one of the best center here in Bangkok. In fact he can play power forward and center. He can drive in and outside the shaded area. He can shoot within the perimeter with greater percentages. He's deadly when he can receive the ball underneath the basket. Sunny's ability in basketball excell when he won his first championship trophy in 2005. Sunny can play both stronger defense and offense. He's a prominent shot blocker. He can dunk as well. He's a great help to the team. From Berks to Tsaiyo and now, back to Berks. Sunny is a well known player because his versatile defense. Inside the court, you will see him playing like a spider. His arms are long and his jump is so high and you'll really notice him because of his height. Sunny's takes pride in his effort. He's doing that because he want to win.
