Anybody interested? A friend of mine who used to do this back home would like to start such a group here in Thailand.

Thailand has so many beautiful mountains to conquer for this particular hobby or activity.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more.
It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.
It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow

Guys and gals, mga pre at mare. Thanks for the response. Actually hindi rin ako experienced sa mountaineering pero I would be very happy pag naumpisahan itong hobby na ito. Will talk to my friend Bobot and invite him to join us here para naman mapagusapan ito.

Another interested ungguy here. I believe there are tons of awesome places in Chiangmai/Chiangrai. Our SM members na taga doon could probably scout an awesome and safe starters location para sa unang trek natin. Anyway, kahit saan, sabay ako. Might buy some new gear for this if it's gonna be an overnighter(s).

Well...TIT...this is Thailand Chico Cheesy

UPDATE:

He will visit Khao Yai soon to study the area (but we can explore other places later daw). Guys, safety is his main concern here so he is connecting with his mountaineering friends sa Pinas for necessary updates. Then he will train some of us to serve as his backup/support during our trek.
