I am very interested to join the group. I used to be coordinator of BSP in the Philippines and I do like adventure a lot. Kaya ng napunta sa Thailand eh. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I got some training on hiking before but not on mountaineering. For sure, this group would be very helpful. I will just keep myself posted for the Basic Mountaineering Course. Sana makasali at sana it won't fall sa BC DAYS... Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Please make a stirring committee of this to plan for the activity. I've known a Philippino guy here has been organizing travels and events. He has not introduced mountaineering though.

And please post it on the newsletter in SP.

Guys, please free yourselves on Wednesday night at 7pm. We will have an initial meeting/mini meetup at Roadhouse Steak and BBQ at Central World. If I am not mistaken it's the same floor as Major Cineplex. Mr. B, Eillen  and me will be there. Sige na join us at atat na rin kami ni Madam H. October is the best time to do the initial trip. Medyo mahabahaba ang break Wink Tara na! Cheesy

@ ebs_elberts - can you pm me his contact info? Thanks!

Hi guys!

We learned a lot from Mr. B and Eillen tonight. We should really be RESPONSIBLE pala bago umakyat.

We really need to know what we are doing at dapat may refresher course or training talaga before the actual event happens. Remember we should all be responsible with one another to reduce risk and danger.

It's better ho to be safe than later to be sorry. And experience mountaineers knows that, right? You really need to go with those who have experience and understand mountaineering. Kumbaga sa ganitong bagay slowly but surely po is the way.

We will have fun naman once we are confident that we have covered all the basis. I am an adventurous person but for me going without proper planning and training is very dangerous. Wink

That's true,Master J. When I bumped into this blog, the first question that entered my mind was "Thailand's highest mountain with hotels and restos atop?". People clarified this is indeed true.TOT might have really developed this mountain for tourists.

Banahaw has been climbed by millions of people. If you reached the summit alive, would you be able to stand the freezing weather at night or the mercy of the sun in the morning?

Mabigat din ibaba dahil what you brought up must go down with you.

I suggest we must give an ample amount of time for planning.
