Hi Chibi!
1. October medyo umuulan na ng konti. 2. Sorry have not much of an idea kung saan mas mura. 3. 4. If you are interested to see Thai culture I believe it's worth it. 5. Depende sa kung anong bibilhin mo. Tsaka 15T baht ba yan o pesos? 6. Elephant ride na pinakamalapit is doon sa Samprhan. Mga 1 - 1 1/2 hour from the city. 7. Connected the Chao Phraya ang Bangkok tsaka Ayuthaya. May mga river cruise from Bangkok to Ayuthaya and back.
Hope this helps.

Good questions, chibi! It would help if we knew what part of downtown you will be at, kasi maraming downtown sa BKK. Ako rin, madalad bumisita sa BKK and to avoid traffic, I do a BTS tour.
Check mo muna currency exchange within the week you will be here. Depends kasi.
3. san po ba the best bumili ng damit? and san mura? mura din po ba yung mga branded na damit sa BKK? October is a good time daw to go to Chatuchak Market. Mega sale daw doon, knock offs and some genuine branded clothing. Ride the BTS to Mo Chit Station, this takes you to this mega sale market. ... 5. kasya na po ba yung 15thou na pocket money? Depends on what you want to do. If you plan to shop, spend wisely. Also take into consideration currency exchange for the day. Cash is good for bargain hunting. Use your card for establishments. ... 7. ano po ba dapat puntahan chao phraya or ayutthaya? I avoid any body of water if at all possible, so I will say go to Ayutthaya. It's the nearest suburban area/province to BKK. Engrande ang mga temples/wat and its charm comes from its being ancient and historical. Lots of inexpensive food also. Temple goers will allow you to watch then pray and drop coins into special containers. Make a contribution also if you wish.
Kung trip mo ang tubig, take a tour of the Chao Phraya. Maiikot mo ang periphery ng buong BKK in a few hours.

Chibi, nasagot naman nila yung question mo ng maayos na maayos..i'll just give some points kung ano ang masasagot ko... 1.) If you will bring pocket money, better bring US Dollars instead of Philippine Peso. When I arrive here in Bangkok para magtrabaho, only got few hundreds of Dollars but the exchange is fairly good and every currency exchange shop can surely exchange the US Dollars. Yung USD 500 ko was exchanged to THB 16,000.00 which is almost the same as the current exchange rate of THB vs USD. Then nung maubos na yung US Dollars ko na pinalit sa Thai Baht, naturally I had to exchange my Philippine Peso. First, mahirap maghanap ng shop na nag e-exchange ng Peso as compared to Dollars. Second, ang baba ng palit. Yung PHP 20,000 plus na pina palit ko lumabas mga THB 12,000 plus lang which is around 30% lower than the exchange rate of THB vs PHP that time. 2.) Pag Wholesale (3 pcs and up) may further discount than if you buy just 1 piece.. 4.) One time I bought Esprit shirt in Central World for only Baht 290. Hope this helps..sorry di pa ko ganun katagal sa Bangkok so I cannot share as much info to you.

Sa tingin ko kulang yung 15 thou mo kasi kung shopping spree ang plano mo maraming mura dito, so kahit na anong pigil mo talagang matetemp kang bumili. ika nga ni Master J Bangkok is a Sin City not because of night spots but because talagang matemp ka dahil sobrang mura ng mga bilihin.

Aside from Suvarnabhumi Airport which has a couple of outlets that exchange almost all major currencies, including Php, I discovered a TMB bank outlet in BTS National Stadium station (say that fast 3 times!) that accepts PhP. Kung sa Suvarnabhumi PhP 1 = ThB 00.51, dito naman sa outlet na ito 1 = 00.42. Laki ng difference. You have to figure out the best diskarte dito.
So tama si Mr. Chico, bring USD instead of PhP.

K bank counter yata before you enter the entrance door.

this is a very important piece of advice kc medyo delikado sa mga lugar na yan.
