hahah.. thanks po sa mga advice... ano po pala meorn sa khao san road?

khao san is like the boehemian heart of bkk. lots of knock off stuff at bargain prices.

if you got a day for temples, try going to wat phra keaw (emerald buddha) and go to the temple just beside it with the reclining buddha, then cross the chao phrya river to get to wat arun (temple of the dawn)  you can also check out wat srakes (golden mount) and the olc fort, which is just around the area. from there, go to khao san to wrap up the day.

be sure to have spare batteries and cards for your camera.

Price is Baht 1,050 per person. Ang terminal ay sa River City malapit sa may Sheraton. Mas maganda may prior booking cos maraming mga groups lalo pag weekend. If mag walk-in kayo baka walang slots available...usually daw Filipino ang entertainer sa cruise.

Chao Phraya Princess Cruise which is operated by Tristar Floating Restaurant. Oo yung cruise will just pass the temples and other interesting places along the river pero hindi titigil. The food and the Entertainment on board the cruise ship is good enough although kung gusto mo na malapitan, I think the best time to go there is in daytime pero hindi lahat ng temple mapapasok mo ang loob.

@chibi - I guess ung sinasabi ni Franz ay Dinner Cruise along Chao Phraya river.

http://www.thaicruise.com/routeprogram_en.php

Yung sinasabi mong Grand Pearl Cruise w/c cost 1,700 is a different cruise package which will travel to Ayuthaya during daytime and includes lunch buffet.

http://www.grandpearlcruise.com/cruise_itinerary/thailand_world.php

kung gusto mong pumasok sa mga temple like Reclining Budha, Grand Palace & etc.., you can just get a separate package tour Or kung gusto mong makatipid puede ka rin pumunta sa mga temples na nabanggit ko by taxi. Yun po...

hope this helps Smiley

CHIBI ung sa Grand palace makakapasok kayo dun.. it will cost u 250 baht and bawal ang naka shorts and slippers. By the way walang branded na mura ha ha ha ha ha.. kaya nga branded it means they have the rights to raise their price.

minsan may mga brand na nag sale sa mga malls kaya mura din. Like this time, sale sa lahat ng Central Department Stores including Central World. Madami mga shops ang may sale including the branded names. Last night I was able to buy a Giordano shirt for only Baht 225.
