Chibi, nasagot naman nila yung question mo ng maayos na maayos..i'll just give some points kung ano ang masasagot ko... Wink

1.) If you will bring pocket money, better bring US Dollars instead of Philippine Peso. When I arrive here in Bangkok para magtrabaho, only got few hundreds of Dollars but the exchange is fairly good and every currency exchange shop can surely exchange the US Dollars. Yung USD 500 ko was exchanged to THB 16,000.00 which is almost the same as the current exchange rate of THB vs USD. Then nung maubos na yung US Dollars ko na pinalit sa Thai Baht, naturally I had to exchange my Philippine Peso. First, mahirap maghanap ng shop na nag e-exchange ng Peso as compared to Dollars. Second, ang baba ng palit. Yung PHP 20,000 plus na pina palit ko lumabas mga THB 12,000 plus lang which is around 30% lower than the exchange rate of THB vs PHP that time.

3.) Sa Platinum Mall nga mura bumili ng damit and maraming choices but usually pang babae mga damit dun. Pag Wholesale (3 pcs and up) may further discount than if you buy just 1 piece..

4.) Marami din mura branded na damit dito lalo na pag Sale. One time I bought Esprit shirt in Central World for only Baht 290. Yung pambabae nga meron pa Baht 190. Yung mga sale na yun ok ang style hindi yung outdated...

Hope this helps..sorry di pa ko ganun katagal sa Bangkok so I cannot share as much info to you.

Hi Chibi, I believe I have posted earlier in this topic it is best that you bring US Dollars rather than Peso kasi mas mababa ang palit ng Peso. I am quoting it again.

As for the time difference, 1 hour lang ang difference so walang halos adjustment sa timing. like now is only 11:20 here in Thailand sa Pinas, most of you are already having lunch.
