A few minutes ago, I recieved a parcel from a good friend na nasa pinas. And I was delighted to see na included inside is a Smart SIM na sabi ng friend ko she activated for international roaming na para maka txt sya sakin dito. So nilagay ko kaagad in a phone na di ko na ginagamit and was happy to see that it's working fine. I checked the balance and saw that it has around 81 pesos with it. Now I'm sure a lot of you here has international SIMs too so I'd like to ask a few questions. 1. How much ang charge sa loved ones natin when they send a txt from pinas to this roaming sim? Smart to Smart; Globe to Smart? 2. How often do you guys load your balance? How much is necessary and when does it expire if di ginagamit ang load? 3. Since I mentioned my SIM has 81 pesos pre-loaded, do you guys know when this pre-loaded amount expires? Salamat sa info. Jin  |

Jin, there is this Dee Dial which never expires. Mga 8.25 baht ata per minute to the Phil and 1 baht to US and Canada. In a minute marami kayong mapaguusapani kesa txt. Plus meron itong 99 baht na initial load. You can top-up sa kahit saang 7-11 so very convenient.  Sorry, I have not personally used it but I know marami na ring mga Pinoy na gumagamit nito. Yung dating systema nila ay parang pasaload din. Pero yung bago, to topup yun nga sa 7-11 na. No need to bother somebody in the middle of the night just to send you load. Anyway, I have a slightest idea of how this SIM from Phil works. Just hope that you are happy with it.  |

Smart to Smart; Globe to Smart? - Piso lang pero kun ikaw ang mgti tx sa kanila, 12 pesos yata or 15pesos per tx.2. How often do you guys load your balance? How much is necessary and when does it expire if di ginagamit ang load? - anytime pwede ka mgload and u can only do it thru e-load (meaning sila sa pinas ang mgloload for u). Hindi pwede ang scratchcard. Dapat not below 100 ang balance mo so u can have continous roaming services pro sa tingin ko d nman sila ganun ka strict. Basta make sure lng na d ka naze zero balance.3. Since I mentioned my SIM has 81 pesos pre-loaded, do you guys know when this pre-loaded amount expires? - 3 mos yata. For more infor pala: if ever uuwi ka sa atin, u can still use this simcard, off mo lng roaming thru txting ROAM OFF and send to 333. If u want to on the roam ulit, tx ROAM ON to 333. The OFW Sim pack has 1 OFW sim+ 2 family sim which your family can use to send messages or call you. OFW Sim will be charges PHP 25.00 per text (limited to 160 chars) while the 2 Family Sim will be charged just PHP 1.00 per 160 char. text to your OFW sim. 2. How often do you guys load your balance? How much is necessary and when does it expire if di ginagamit ang load? The OFW Sim will have unlimited roaming service provided the Family Sim will make at least 1 voice call per month to keep it active and the OFW sim should have at least PHP 25.00 balance to send message and at least PHP 80.00 balance to make a call. Pag naubos na load ko I just ask them na pasahan ako ng load so I can send them messages using the OFW Sim or to call them.3. Since I mentioned my SIM has 81 pesos pre-loaded, do you guys know when this pre-loaded amount expires?- Sorry no info.

currently using smart roaming, nagload ako ng 300 pesos since march 30, nagamit ko ng ung iba sa pinas, then i came back to thailand last april 15, up to now eh activated pa naman, i replied once 25 pesos charge...di ko nga alam kung may laman pa... siguro meron pa kasi gumagana pa naman |
