You can still move on in a slow phase because really until you finish the business, it is still not so over.  Be crucial and direct then everything will be fine...

          In my case (that was 10 years ago), it was hard to be in a new relationship if there were unfinished business. Most of the time, the guilt feeling comes out of nowhere. So I've decided to do my way to finish it. I went to his Province, we spent the whole day together, talked, and I gave him a kiss of goodbye...

Why not do several things simultaneously: moving on while finishing your past business?  Life is too short to wait for some unfinished business to end. 

Move on, man!  Kung ayaw mo, itutulak kita sa river sa may Mukata, pagtulungan ka namin ni Darfur at BB1.
