some people say What you don't know won't hurt you...Now, the question is-- until when will you allow a lie to draw a smile? When is the right time to tell the truth even if it will bring buckets of tears?

For me, sometimes it's better things are left unsaid cos when it is out in the open some people may be hurt, some relationships may be broken. What's more important is if you realized such mistakes that made you lie in the past and you try to correct that mistake to become a better person.

For me the truth that draws a tear is much better...

Because living in a lie is like living in hell...

If he wants to clear out things and correct all his mistake, he must be first do the right thing and that is to tell the truth... no one knows what can a girl be, she might be loose her control and break up with you (well this must be 1st reaction of a woman that hurt) but she also may be forgive you, and be willing to start all over again...

just with a condition that no more lies at all...   Wink

sometimes we tend to make mistakes because we are too impulsive or maybe because of lack of maturity. We don't want to do it but in a spur of a moment we did. We felt sorry and we promise to ourselves we will not do it again. Can it be called selfishness if you would keep it to yourself? Is it not right to stop the bleeding before you run out of blood? Would you still skin a cut if it is already deep?

Let me try...

I guess it all depends on the situation, who are the people involved and the gravity of the lies. LOL

When i was younger...naks...tanana-nananana....

Seriously, when I was younger, I hated being told the truth if it hurt. But as I got older, it mattered to me more that people around me told me the truth. Because I guess, when you are older, you are or have 2 things:

- the maturity to take the truth and learn from it, instead of hating the person who said it to you.
- secondly, you are already tired of half-truths, white lies, etc as you grow older.

As to the gravity of the matter in question... If I'm about to show myself in public, and I feel (and look) awful, I won't mind a girlfriend saying, "You look fabulous!", especially because she knows i needed that boost. But i would appreciate the same girlfriend saying, "Hey, you really messed this one up, girl!", if I've just made mistakes in a project that would have a major impact to me personally or professionally, and would affect many other people.

depende rin siguro sa trabaho or sa status sa lipunan....

Kung Presidente ka or Public Official, your constituent should know the truth. Unfortunately, marami sa kanila (hindi lahat ah) would tell a lie (during Campaign period) but draw smiles (sa mga supporters na makaka-hingi ng "favor" once manalo ung manok nila).

          I would rather choose to be hurt knowing the truth rather than living in a world full of lies. I'd rather be hurt from knowing the truth than knowing that the person i trusted in was lying to me the whole time. The truth may hurt sometimes, but it hurts even more when someone hides it from you. And it will help to make you a stronger and better person.

          Healing process from hurting maybe takes some time but once I overcame that situation and look back in the past... I can proudly say "I've been in that situation before, but look...... here I am now"
