I was reading one of those free BK Magazines at the coffee shop, and on page 14 I found a quick mention of Siam Pinoy. ;-)

It was about feature of world cuisine, and under Philippines, it mentioned:

For a cultural fix, you might have to wait for the Filipino Independence Day, June 12. It's an annual event hosted by various Filipino organizations around town. This year was also the first year of Pinoy Fiesta, which included a variety of fun games, music, dance and food. They're looking to make it a yearly event so keep yourselves posted by visiting www.siampinoy.com.

Ayan, tin-nype ko pa ;-)

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more.
It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.
It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow
