The Teacher's Council of Thailand started distributing teacher licenses to
foreign teachers whose documents have already been verified and approved by the
Board. By July 2009, it is expected that all eligible applicants shall receive
their teacher licenses (card). However, to those who have recently applied for
a teacher's license and have met the
requirements and qualifications,
verification process will take at least five months to a year before
distribution to be sent by mail to your school address. Please inform the
Teacher's Council of Thailand of any work location changes.
To non-education degree holders, please be informed that a LONG DISTANCE
PROGRAM (modular and online course) on the Graduate Diploma in Teaching
Profession shall soon open for enrollment this summer. The course is approved
by the Teacher’s Council of Thailand which will take a year to completion. If
interested, please email us for more information or later visit
www.skt-center.com (the site will soon be available next month).
To non-education degree holders who opt to take the Professional Knowledge
Test, the 4th round of testing shall soon be administered this summer. Please
keep on visiting www.ksp.or.th for details.
Finally, below are the schedules of the Thai
Culture Training Course:
January 17-18, 2009 (Saturday and Sunday) – PSTAT training center, Bangkok
February 8 and 9 (Sunday and Monday) – PSTAT training center, Bangkok
March 21-22 (Saturday and Sunday) - PSTAT training center, Bangkok
