hello, Ro_se. I asked for Franz's help with this recently. He comes highly recommended (naks). It was the easiest thing for my friend and I. Good luck and I hope you have fun!

That's good idea BP. It's Franz's expertise.

Nway, just want to share what we did last time. Took a bus from Morchit to Aran (around 4 hours). From there took a Camry taxi to Siem Reap (approximnately 4-5 hours) . You can also avail of their bus but we decided taking the taxi was more convenient.

You can also check this out http://hotels.hotelsquickfinder.com/City/Siem_Reap.htm

Master J:
Franz is an excellent resource on this trip. (sensha na, Franz for talking about you in 3rd person!)  Cheesy

Ro_se, dahlin':
Depending on your budget, you might want to request Franz to also arrange transport, hotel and a guided tour of Angkor Wat, it saves you time and effort. Travel with a friend, it's more than twice the fun. We stayed at Allson_Angkor Hotel.

Other recommendations:
Insist on seeing the Tomb Raider Temple (yes, that's what it's called now thanks to Angelina Jolie)
When they tell you you can't climb it, climb it! (temples, hehehe bad influence ako!)
Angkor Night Market (Dr Fish, movie theater)
The Blue Pumpkin

Hello BP, salamat po sa recommendation..I'm glad you enjoyed the trip to Angkor Wat. @ Ro_se, PM me the details of your planned trip so I can give you rough estimation. Hopefully makatulong for you to decide.

I like the Blue Pumpkin also BP. Eto yung resto na masarap ang mga cakes right? Tapos sa second floor parang may sofa bed at tapos libre ang wifi.

We are planning to go back there. Franz, I will recommend you sa friend ko who will have a meeting sa 1st week of May. May delegation sila na hinahanapan niya ng hotels and accomodation. Malaki ang grupo na ito who will be attending a Huge meeting doon. Hopefully diyan na sila kumuha ng package sa iyo.

Hi Master, thanks for the recommendation. Normally for big meetings or conventions, the Organizers do not allow delegates to book elsewhere but only through them as they usually block rooms in advance. But anyway if the delegates have the liberty to choose where they like to book the trip and the organizers are not too strict about it then should not be any problem..and if this is the case by all means I am willing to assist whenever I can. Will wait for the details then. Salamat po ulit.. Philippines
