After hard work and research I finished my version 2.0 of Interactive flashcard.

May kasama na itong games and spelling test at maraming pang ibang improvements.

I was able to control my program using my nokia 3110 use as remote control as you will see it on the video.

I designed a spelling test compatible with a touchscreen LCD.

Para mas mag enjoy ang gagamit.

So far there are about 10 teachers using my first version. Most of them are from Ramkhamhaeng and Chulalongkorn University pinoy teachers. 3 pcs of USB version of interactive flashcard version 1.0 was bought by the General Secretary of Thai Software Industry for a very low price. I'm not sure if they have cracked it already.

For security purposes, i havent release my second version up to now.

So i'll just share it to all pinoys here @ siampinoy

Sorry for my late reply. Philippines

Actually I'm not familiar with mimio notebook or smartboards but to give you the idea how this program works:

It's a computer software I created in VB.
It can be installed or run into any computer desktop or laptop or notebook with Windows XP or Windows VISTA operating system.
You can run it normally even in to the slowest computer that you can afford to buy.

The concept of this program is to give power to the teacher to control the program not the program to control the teacher.

It’s like a blank lesson plan packed with computer voice of a male or a female.
Teacher has also the option to record his/her voice to replace the computer voice if desired.
(recording is only applicable for vocabulary words but not with the structure.)

Reason:
Because of automatic substitution of the missing word or (blank in the structure)

Example:  A: What would you like to eat?
   B: I’d like to eat ________ .

It’s not advisable to record the structure then substitute the vocabulary word that was recorded separately.
The result is not natural when you mix two separate recordings then connect it to form a sentence.

How to use this program?
(Summarized)

PART 1 (Preparing the lesson)
1.   Name your topic or lesson description.
2.   Type the vocabulary words you will teach.(record your voice if you liked.)
3.   Provide pictures that will represent your vocabulary words.
(640X480) dimension (jpg format)
rename the picture for example: cat.jpg, dog.jpg, etc….
   4. Create the structure that will match your vocabulary words.
Ex. A: What is your pet?
         B: My pet is a ________ .
PART 2 (teaching lesson)
1.   Present the vocabulary words using pictures including the pronunciation.
2.   Turn off the sound or hide the word to let your students speak by themselves by just looking at the picture.
3.   Use the activity or game to identify the picture by listening or
4.   Present the four pictures with numbers or letters then ask them. What is the picture on number 10?  or  the picture on letter “H”?
5.   You can also use the spelling test to practice listening and spelling of the given vocabulary words.
6.   When you are convinced that they can identify the pictures and pronounce correctly, proceed in teaching the structure.

FOR OTHER INFO PLEASE POST IT HERE. THANKS

Note: The cellphone used as remote control is only for my convenience. The LCD touchscreen is for my game and spelling test purpose.

Other INFO: Philippines

*Almost all computers and notebooks can be connected to a TV for bigger viewing and louder sound.
*Most new models of NOKIA and Sony ericson cellphone with bluetooth can be used as a remote control to any program in your computer even your mouse.

Hi pc_master!  I am interested with this software.  Are you currently selling it?  How much?

as far as i know,

siampinoy is not directly affiliated with pc_master in relation of the software product.

siampinoy has no direct connections with the forumer whatsoever, other than being a member here and freely advertising the product.

so if ever money transactions would be involved between you and any forumer then you are on your own.

Maraming Salamat po.

goodluck to you all.

peace you!
