STYLE is style.... either you GOT IT or you DON'T

« on: June 14, 2009, 12:08:52 PM »

Hi there,

Last Monday, June 8, Marilyn was rushed to the hospital.  Leona her roommate said, around 8:00 am. She complained she had a terrible headache. For, a moment she went back to bed and lie down and eventually lost her consciousness.  Leona, then called 911 and an ambulance rushed her to the nearest hospital.

She got operated same day around 1:00 pm. and brought to ICU around 6:00 p.m.

Her friends finally saw her around 11:00 p.m. still unconscious and in a comma.  From Monday till today she was unconscious.

The doctors, said she got aneurysm, and hemorrhage in her brain.  The operation took several hours because they drained the blood inside.

The doctors conducted several tests (CT scans) almost everyday to see the condition of her brain.

Apparently, her conditions didn't get better or worst and the pressure on her head is still high.

However, her friend was comparing her condition first two days and today, thinks she is improving.  First 2 days, she is not moving.

But last Thursday, she could move a little bit when someone is talking to her, it is good sign that her brain is functioning.

Last Friday, a friend who sat beside her bed talking to her noticed some tears in her eyes.

Yesterday she has fever which is not good.

There are many friends who visited her regularly and most of her friends from the church were asked to pray for her.

Masses were also offered for her speedy recovery.

I would like to ask you if you could include her in your prayers and please tell all your friends to include her in their prayers as well.

I believe in the power of prayers.

Marilyn needs our prayers. She needs God's Miracle to save her life.

Thank you

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more.
It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.
It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow

@Master J - thank you!!

@ดาฎี  - thank you din!!

Marilyn is my closest friend in Korea but she's in Canada right now, she used to work on a mission (children's shelter) for Archdiocese of Seoul, where i was a volunteer also. we are both members of Filipino Mission Auxiliary Association (FMAA) which is a lay partner of the Mission Society of the Philippines(MSP). we were volunteers in the Hyehwadong Filipino Catholic Community.
