Hello, I'm Lara. I've been here in Bangkok since August 2004. I work for a marketing services agency... I met Cholo just a few months ago for Beach Hut... hopefully we'll do some projects for them. 

What else is there to say here? I work a lot... I go out on weekends to shop... watch movies... wala na mashadong gimik at night... i think i'm getting too old for that. hahahaha.

i don't have a lot of filipino friends... i'm usually out with my thai friends pero di pa rin ako marunong mag-thai. I studied at Jentana & Associates ... with private teacher going to my office for the class pero di pa rin ako natuto.

gandang gabi po, been visiting this site for sometime and topics are interesting, kaya i decided to join. btw, anne  here, 6 years in thailand,,,,, promdi province of trat.... chonburi... now in nontaburi. wala pa akong mapuntahang iba kaya dito muna sa thailand... anyways life here is "sabai-sabai" .

Welcome Jess and thanks a lot for joining us. This is a good thread started by Mark kasi may pictures na rin na inaattach. Ok lang ang size ng picture mo. Walang problema doon. As for photography you're also welcome to join us. We are hoping to grow the group dito sa community and hopefully magkakaclub na tayo. i'm sherwin. been working here in bkk since 2004 but left last year then came back again last april of this year to work again (gulo noh? hehe)

i came back not only to work but also to have my wedding here in thailand with a thai girl next year (08/08/08). i think i'll be here in bangkok for quite some time starting now. but who knows, plans would change.

anyway, same as some of you, i have a lot of thai friends but also would like to go out and meet other pinoys. most of my pinoy friends here before went out already working in different countries. ako na lang mag-isa naiwan. so, i hope joing siampinoy would give me more opportunities to meet new friends =) btw, i'm interested in having basketball buddies kase un talaga ang hilig ko. but then again, i couldn't find a group or an organization wherein i could join or fit in. i hope joining here would point me in the right direction.

i'm staying in wongwan onnut (di ko sure ung spelling hehe). kakalipat lang namin this month with my fiancee there. malayo-layo sa city pero malapit sa airport. problema ko lang yung transpo though we have a car, my fiancee always drive it for her work purposes. kaya minsan super commute ako. hehe

No problem Sherwin. Usually weekends kami nagkikita. Try natin this weekend or sa sunod. Mas malapit din kami sa airport kesa sa city Nasa Sukaphibal 3 lang kami. For the past 3 weeks pumupunta kami diyan sa onnut. May mga Siam Pinoy din diyan - actually, any Filipino naman in Thailand is a Siam Pinoy. Ok I will pm or email you kung may sched. I am sure gusto ka rin makilala ng mga kaibigan natin dito.
