Come and visit me in Bohol!

when I accepted the job offer in thailand, my first instinct was to look for a Pinoy community so I googled it. I found some but SP registered first in my mind cos its soo easy to remember..di ko masyado inopen na ung site nung nasa Pinas pa. When I arrived in Bangkok, that's when I registered and started posting. The posts from fellow SP members are so unique and funny kaya nakakabawas sa homesickness. Hope to see some of you in flesh soon!

you will even see our soul soon... Cheesy

The Philippine tarsier(Tarsius syrichta) is very peculiar small animal. In fact it is one of the smallest known primates, no larger than an adult man's hand. Mostly active at night, it lives on a diet of insects.

hello @basabasa, di na fit sa yo handle mo, dapat change it na to "sulatbasa" or para medyo sosyal e "readwrite" Smiley

welcome to SP @basabasa, let us know your thoughts & opinions, that's what this forum is all about Grin

btw, regarding sa pagkaka-ban sa yo last week, i don't remember na na-ban ka dahil in the 1st place ay di ka naman nagpo-post at dahil nga basabasa ka lang Grin  tama si master, baka natapat lang na may glitch yung forum at the time na gusto mo talaga mag-basabasa... Grin

anyway, pasensya ka na kapag minsan ay di ka makapasok sa forum (try & try lang) at sana ay wag ka madadala.  you are always welcome sa SP and hope to see you soon in one of our gimiks Grin

hello there....

strict ba ka mo parents este wife mo.... isa lang solution jan... isama mo sa gimik ng SP, matutuwa yan lalo na pag na meet nya sina madam h and the rest of the SP ladies... Smiley

LOL...
at thanks din sa pg invite mo skin sa incoming gimiks. actually one of the reason na gamit ko  ang basabasa dhil bka hindi me mka attend ng meet ups kasi very strict ang parents ko este wife ko pala. hehehe..

@basabasa - sorry for a late response kc po nag-meet kami ng isang SPiers din today

@Master J - thanks for explaining to basabasa about his query

it's just my personal opinion and based on my observation, be constructive...walang masamang intention kung may tinamaan man po, bato-bato sa langit tamaan.... baka Guilty(joke).

Like what Master J mentioned, nagpupunta po tayo sa church para sumamba... kailangan po ba talaga ng chika/tsismis before and after and sometimes even during the homily? Pakipansin nga po if may ibang foreigner na ganun aside from some Filipinos?

Thanks and God Bless...

Welcome back din po sa SP..

Hi reign-butterfly, salamat sa pag reply. you dont need to apologize,  actually very much
hehehe...I should be the one to say sorry coz bka na offend ka sa tanong ko. and I hope not. Smiley

and yes nag sisimba rin ako regularly, but Im very sure its not me nor my wife who did that act to you, So I guess we should not feel guilty about that hehehe.....but we all know that nobody is perfect.

So you really had a very bad encounter with some pinoys during the mass huh, its really terrible.
bka nman sinit-sitan mo hehehe.............. joke lang din po Smiley
Now i fully understand the need of posting that issue in this forum.  Its good that I've triggered this point because it seems to me that now you were able to express how you feel on those destructive mass goers.

Smiley

Sometimes we have to accept the fact that we cannot please everyone, right? so for me what is important as long na wala ginagawa masama sa kapwa mo at di ka nakaka sakit o nakaka apekto sa kanila at nakakatulong ka nman sa iba  eh ayus na un.  But still its all depends in everyone's belief. Just my thoughts..

Thanks RB and Basa-Basa for giving us more insights about this topic. I've been living here in Thailand for almost 12 years already (ganon na ba katagal?) kahit saang simbahan ka mapunta dami talagang mga distorbo. Hindi naman lahat pero mukhang going to church serves as undoing to others. Cheesy Off Topic to the max na ako sorry!

Ok how did you know ba about SiamPinoy.com?

i bumped into mj at the pex forums.  he introduced the url to the original(?) siampinoy site, which was later hacked... didn't pay much attention.

but, later on, out of boredom, and perhaps longing for some kabayan love, my pinoy colleagues have all gone back to pinas i was the lone pinoy in mukdahan and my friend was 2 provinces away in sakhon nakhon teaching in some rongrian anuban.  so, i tried to google for siampinoy once again and found the ".../forum2"

..so here i am  Grin

How did I know SIAMPINOY site?

hmmmm ... almost three years ago ... in a far-far away land... hehhe joke!

Seriously, during my first weeks here in Bangkok, I had known that there is a basketball team named SiamPinoy .. but I don't know that they have a site and I never met one SPiers personally ..

then .. came February 2008 .. I was introduced by my friends (including the SPAS-VP)  to some SPAS members ..which turned out to be an awesome couple who whole-heartedly maintains siampinoy.com ...

during the SPAS mtg (of which am a proud member) ... Master J encourage us to post our shots for Ashley's photoshoot .. and to check the forum as well ...

come the 2nd day of March 2008 ...  I was able to register in SP ..  and the rest is history ....

SO, how did I know SIAMPINOY.com then? ---> simply because of SPAS ^ - ^

I was encouraged to join SP (siampinoy.com) this early leap year when I met erick (a siampinoy moderator) by ym (instant yahoo messenger). The truth is, I know him only by name and by search at ajarn.com, his identity as Jimmy Lee. It was in my own interest to find someone like him to join my group. It was like sharing the information. He is also a member to Ajarn Philippine yahoogroup.
