Hi, everyone...its nice you guys are really trying your best Make sure you remember the basics na ja... (1) DI-CHAN or CHAN are used by female to refer to herself while PHOM for male (2) End your sentence or phrase with KAH (female) and KRAB (male) Feel free to ask questions! Pasaa Thai ngay maak kah (Thai language is so easy) (i picked this up from somewhere. ) Using khrap or Ka is important and always impressive, when: • Saying Thank you • Making a request for something • Asking a question • Asking an opinion, comment, or compliment • Apologizing for some mistakes • Answering a question from someone Na (Please) - end particle You may hear sentences ending with “na” (please). Na is a filler to soften statements, add importance and to call attention to an idea. “It makes some sentences sound better” Ex. Arai na. (what please?)

kamusta kabayan back to basics colloquial thai expressions (i picked these up from somewhere) go ahead and do it tam bpai leei see you later laeo jee gan this area has a lot of delicious food taew nan mii kawng a-raui a-raui so what!/ tell me more laeo ngai i'm starving to death hiu ja dtaai yuu laeo i am a newbie in pasaa thai. so the above may have incorrect information. good luck. some of the words spelled in English are quite tricky, they're not exactly pronounced as spelled from above examples: laeo jee gan - see you later laeo - is pronounced more like laew on a level tone jee - is more like cheer (r being silent) or chiaa-raui - is unmistakably aroilaeo ngai - so what? / and then? laeo - laewtam bpai leei - go ahead and do it leei - this is gotta be the trickiest word, there's simply no equivalent spelling in english for this 555 chung mun ter! (so be it!) prongni cheer kan ikrang na - see you again tomorrow

This is true...be careful when reading the english spellings of thai articulation. it can be very tricky and confusing. so the best way is to 'listen' how the locals say it then write it in your own words/spelling. for example : prongni cheer kan ikrang na - see you again tomorrow...i can spell this as: PRUNGNII CHUER GAN IKRANG Make sure you consult your Thai friends and learn from their articulation..otherwise, catch me in the dance floor..if you can!

hello po! pa-translate naman po ng mga to sa thai: Hi! good morning!/ good afternoon!
how are you?
how's your nunhood?
oh, really?
just a little.
yeah, i miss you very much!
aahhh.. please don't chat in thai..
i would not understand that, i only have few words here.
well, i'm fine.
i went to the province to re-assemble all the pieces of me.
i'm better now.
question...
what are your plans in for next 2 years?
it's just a question... i just wanted to know, please!
nothing.
it is because you never gave me the chance to say what i wanted to say.
as you said, life is something possible and impossible..
fate gives you options, and it is up to that person to choose what option he/she wanted to choose
salamat po!

Nice one! talok mak mak Looking forward to the next meet up and will be there to help you with your Thais...that is if you ever catch me sitting...coz most of the time I will be on the dance floor!! Hi keyser soze !...(whats with the name?) If you wanted to polish your Thai language with the help of Miss Helenavil, dapat marunong kayong sumayaw. LOL Paenglish2x (hirap ) pa ako nung una sa kanya, fluent/magaling pala magtagalog. Galing naman ng training ng parents mo para makapag Tagalog/Thai/English ka fluently. ngayon ko lang nabasa ito and I just want to comment... TOTOO napakagaling ni Helenavil! tagalog, thai, english... huh! I had a chance to chat with this awesome woman at isa lang ang hindi ko natananmong sa kanya. "MARUNONG RIN KAYA SIYA NG BISAYA?" joke lang po...
