There was one suggestion to have it in Sukhumvit area this time, to make the location more central. But of course, any other ideas are most welcome here.

There's one place in Sukhumvit soi 26, Indus, an Indian bar and restaurant. If we want to have our meet up there and make it exclusive for our  group only, we have to have it in the afternoon, from 2-8pm. Then at 8 pm, it opens to the public.

If we want it exclusive, a minimum of 30 people have to be there at around 5oo baht per head. This will entitle you to one drink and a buffet of snacks (they can serve a combination of Indian food and Thai dishes). Last time I was there for a meeting, the food was good and quite filling.

If we wish to have a DJ, we pay 1,000 baht.

Now if we want to mix with the crowds who go there in the evening, then we just each pay as we order, just like in the other meet ups before.

What's good about Indus is they also have an outdoor bar, so those who are not in a mood yet for dancing and music could have a chance to catch up with each other's lives in the yard, just glass doors away from the dance floor!

Please, any other ideas out there would be most useful as we brainstorm when, where and how we would like to have our next meet up!

Hi everyone! I'm new here in Bkk. Just landed last Sunday, and haven't gotten over homesickness. Pa-join naman po sa meet-up. Ako lang ang pinoy sa work ko and it would help kung may makikilala akong mga pinoy dito...

Looking forward  Wink
