malamang nabasa na ito ng iba pero post ko pa rin..
buti na lang at hindi pa ako nabibiktima nito..
Please Be Extremely Careful especially if using internet mail such as Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL and so on.
This information arrived this morning direct from both Microsoft and Norton.
Please send it to everybody you know who has access to the Internet.
You may receive an apparently harmless email with a Power Point presentation 'Life is beautiful.'
If you receive it DO NOT OPEN THE FILE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES , and delete it immediately .
If you open this file, a message will appear on your screen saying: 'It is too late now, your life is no longer beautiful.'
Subsequently you will LOSE EVERYTHING IN YOUR PC and the person who sent it to you will gain access to your name, e-mail and password.
This is a new virus which started to circulate on Saturday afternoon.
AOL has already confirmed the severity, and the antivirus software's are not capable of destroying it.
The virus has been created by a hacker who calls himself 'life owner.'

Rule of thumb, don't open any attachment from a sender you dont recognize. If an attachment arrives from someone you know, scan before opening (our emails have default scanners) kahit na alam mo safe ang file (pictures etc). And best tip of all, BUY A MAC and forget about viruses and malwares; or even software scanners.

Couldn't agree more with you JinDo. Buy a Mac! A year ago there were 120,000 plus PC viruses. With Mac (knock on wood) , nada - zero.

i'd like to share my points of view..
virus is a traditional program created by some people who would like gain access or defecting another program to disable or malfuntion in any case... The software makers are the one who make the virus too, its commercial strategies for some reason that the might consumers will always upgrade the system...
no virus no softwares to be used...
so virus is part of our life, dont be scared with it...
There's no safe at any matter of your PC than to aware all the time of your system... be safe by putting all your important files to drive D: or E and so on..
be always have a backup copy of your installer. dont save any important documents to drive C: drive C: serves only for your system files and add-ons softwares... if the anti-virus cant heal... reinstall the OS to drive C: it will delete the files from your system and will make fresh copy of your system.
buy a retail licences anti virus in your nearest IT stores its one year licensure. Panda,Bit defender are best choice of mine so far...

from a friend Subject: HUGE VIRUS COMING PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CONTACTS! (In our case, click send to a friend link)
You should be alert during the next few days. Do not open any message with an attachment entitled 'POSTCARD FROM HALLMARK,' regardless of who sent it to you. It is a virus which opens A POSTCARD IMAGE, which 'burns' the whole hard disc C of your computer. This virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list. This is the reason why you need to let all your contacts know about this. It is better to receive this message 25 times than to receive the virus and open it. If you receive a mail called' POSTCARD,' even though sent to you by a friend, do not open it! Shut down your computer immediately. This is the worst virus announced by CNN. It has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever. This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday, and there is no repair yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept. COPY THIS, AND SEND IT TO YOUR FRIENDS. REMEMBER: IF YOU SEND IT TO THEM, YOU WILL BENEFIT ALL OF US

hello ruds, thanks... i did a complete scan... wala na naman... but sometimes bigla magaappear... im using avg free edition
well I'm using that AVG free edition before and it seems the database of virus list is lack no matter how you update it... so they can't see all viruses in your system... Try the Panda Free trial version and it will captured all current viruses and disenfect the system... www.download.com then type this ( Panda antivirus ) in the search box. GP09PROMO1M - Panda Global Protection 2009 Run the program to install it will automatic unstall your current anti virus or the AVG.. and scan the memory system before thoroughly installed. Update it in the Net... or it will automatic update... takes time to update when completed scan all your harddrive... if this not detect and heal your current virus... i have another option... til next time...
