mga kababayan marami akong gustong baguhin as in marami.

ikawalo, dapat maging matured s workplace. dont act like a child. eeeeeeeee what a shame.

ikasiyam, wag magkunwari. maging totoo s sarili. drink royal true orange. hihihihi

ikasampu ( huli n po ito) ayusin ang sarili. walk the walk. talk the talk. walk the line.

Since we are given the opportunity to work abroad and experience different culture I think it is befitting that WE start to make changes not only Filipinos from Thailand but Filipinos around the world. Here are changes  think we need to make:

1) Discipline: I hope we can bring to Phils the discipline we have learned from our host country. Like pagtatapong ng basura, here we don't throw trash anywhere but to the trashcan. Or lining up to ride the train.

2) Show off (sorry not sure what to call it): I think everybody agrees that when we go home to Phils eh magastos. Bakit? kasi we tend to spend all our hard earned money to show our family and neighbors what we got. Akala tuloy nila madali kumita ng pera abroad. I think one way to change this is to only bring what they need. If in case they say "ah sabon lang? or puwede ba cash na lang". tell them, sorry I did not remember that you gave money for me to buy the things you want. Brutally frank, yes but it will helps them and you in the end. If those people really care for us, they will be happy that we arrive safe and sound. Besides, not everyone have the same privilege and material things that we have.

We should help each other to grow and succeed.

Always think of our/your family.

And what seemed such a big problem before, is no longer so daunting after you've been around friends.

Kayo, bakit kaya nangyayari ang mga ito? Maybe a more important question is, how does one prevent it from happening, para wala nang masaktang pamilya?

I was about to add so many things here. I think, I would rather examine what I'm doing, especially if it's affecting other people.

Magandang hapon, Siam Pinoy!

For me, there is NOTHING wrong with the Filipino accent, but with pronunciation, yes, there are problems.

I'm an English language teacher, and in the world of foreign languages, accents don't matter. There are many kinds of English - Indian, Singaporean, American, Australian, British, Filipino. They all sound different, yet they are all English.

What's important is, that you are understood, because the main purpose of language learning is communication, not aesthetics.

For pinoys, we do need to get better at pronouncing words, learning idioms, slangs, coz they will make us better communicators.

But one thing we don't have to strive for, is to sound like an American, a Brit or an Aussie... because we aren't from those countries.

'Just my thoughts...

There is nothing wrong with the Filipino accent... We are here in Thailand, and our customers (the schools and parents) prefer teachers with American or British accent....  If Filipino teachers want to sell their teaching skills in a higher price, at least they should improve their accent... But if the schools are okay, then that's fine.....
