I think it's better for you to go home and then from there apply in other countries where computer technicians are in demand.  It's really so hard for you to find a job with that qualification because most Filipinos here are teaching....

Hi Lazo, welcome to SP...

Though it is true that quite a number of Pinoys/Pinays work here as teachers, there are also those who currently work on the non-teaching profession like me & some members of SP.

If you are looking for a job in IT, your best bet is look for job-offerings from multinational companies.  But as with any company requirements, work experience really counts plus the fact that Thailand's criteria in permitting foreigners to legally work is a bit strict compared to some countries.  Companies have certain limits on the number of expats allowed, usually dependent on the company's registered capital and the expat's position must be justified to be something which cannot be filled in by the Thais.

As I said, don't lose hope.  If you see you have the right skills and qualifications required, give it a try and apply.  If you're not lucky enough in Thailand, try other countries or better yet get more work experiences & credentials from our beloved Islas Filipinas.  Always do it the legal way.  Doing some research about working legally abroad will also help; each country differs on their Labor Laws (google is your friend, my friend) Grin

Good luck...  Pinoy ka, kaya mo yan!

Good job, Master J, here's a plus/positive karma for remembering that ad. That was very helpful and constructive of you, unlike some posters here. Mantakin mong sabihan kang umuwi ka nalang. People should remember what it's like the first time they went out looking for a job.

Good luck to Lazo. Sana matanggap ka.

Going home is still the best option for you....  Be prepared by updating your education...It's so hard to find a good job if at the start you are not prepared educationally... I mean the degree.... Just trying to be realistic here...
