Any hotels budget/luxury that you can recommend to kababayans coming to Thailand? This is gonna be like a mini review. Please include locations and price range. And tell us what you think about the place. Wink

Pan Pacific Hotel - 5 star hotel - Well managed, excellent staff.  Conviniently located along Rama IV and can easily walk along ************ commercial districts.  Only thing i didnt like, if you have to transfer elevators to reach the hotel lobby.  but overall a very nice hotel.  Quite expensive though.

Novotel Accor Hotel Siam Square - 4 star hotel.  also well managed, just like any Accor hotels.  but what i really love about this hotel is its location, situated right across Siam Paragon and the commercial areas near Hard Rock.  You can even walk all the way to MBK.  They even got some good clubs and restaurants as well.  Enjoy their buffet as well.

Swiss Lodge Hotel - Boutique hotel.  reasonable price.  Great location, along Convent Rd.  near the ************ business district, restaurants and shopping areas.  Love their buffet breakfast.  This hotel has somewhat of a European style to it.

hi sa mga pinoy expats,

i need your opinion in the hotels in bangkok.. ok ba tumira sa Samran Place? i know its a budget hotel but is it comfortable enough for 3 persons in a room? what about the rooms, is it clean and not smelly? we just want the rooms and toilets clean and comfortable.

thanks!

Tomyam,
Hopefully, this is not too late. Saan ba ang Samran? Sorry, am not so familiar with the name. If you can give me the road where it is in, it would help a lot. Thanks!

Hi! Samran place is in Pratunam as it say's in the title of the page. In that location, hindi ka magkakamali as it's located in the heart of Bangkok shopping district. I have not checked in into this hotel but if you are like other bakasyoneros na all day naman nagtotour siguro ok na rin ito.

Most Pinoys I know chooses First House, Four Seasons International (postmaster@fourseasonsinter.com), First Hotel at Baiyoke where all of these hotels are located around Pratunam Area.

Hope this helps

Yes, as Master J says, Samran and Baiyoke are just in the same area. So is Four Seasons International, which we recommend because it's Pinoy owned. By 64 sgd do you mean Singapore dollars? And if I'm not mistaken, do you multiply that amount by 20 to get the value in baht, fellow SP's?

If that is so, then the price is very reasonable considering that you will be in the very heart of Bangkok, also the very heart of shopping areas in the city. But just try getting in touch with Four Seasons, too, and tell them you are getting a better deal if they offer you a higher price. They might reconsider giving you a discount.

Thank you for your feedbacks.

Nagtanong ako sa fourseasonsinter, the hotel is nicer but its much more expensive. I think I'll just go for the samran place, marami naman good reviews about the hotel and the location seems to be okay based from your opinions.

Thanks again! =)

I truly appreciate this website I found: http://www.bangkok-city.com/map/index_flash.htm

Eto ay interactive map that helps you locate hotels as you click on the name. Tas may link ito to another page that gives you images of the hotel, some customer feedback of those who've been in any hotel, the price and of course online booking service. I'm not a fan of sawadee.com, the booking company, but this map is just too cool not to use. Tas sabayan mo pa ng google earth surfing, ayos, parang andoon ka sa area ng hotel where you want to book. It will also take you to similar sites for other major areas of Thailand.
