Overseas Absentee Voting Thailand, Thailand Philippine Embassy Bangkok Voting of all registered overseas absentee voters commences on April 14, 2007 and will end at 3:00pm (Philippine time), 2:00pm (Thailand time) on May 14, 2007. You may elect 12 Senators and a Party-List Organization/Sector. The Certified List of Official Candidates and Party-List Organizations may be viewed at the Philippine Embassy website http://www.philembassy-bangkok.net. Filipinos who registered as absentee voters in Thailand will receive a mailing/packet envelope that contains the ballot and the envelopes to seal and send/deliver the ballot. It also contains the Certified List of Candidates and instructions which provides the step-by-step procedures on how you will be able to cast your vote. (In fact, some of these electoral mails have already arrived and have been received by individual voters in their residences or offices.) Please note that the outer Envelope should bear your printed name and the signature that you used when you registered as an overseas absentee voter. Use only the envelopes provided by the Commission. Finally, make sure that the accomplished ballot reaches the Philippine Embassy by postal mail or by delivering it personally on or before 2:00pm local time on May 14, 2007 to ensure that your votes will be counted. Please give this bulletin the widest possible dissemination to all qualified Filipino absentee voters in Thailand.
