Overseas Absentee Voting Bangkok thailand, Philippine Embassy Bangkok, Thailand ELECTORAL MAILS RECEIVED BY THE EMBASSYDuring the OAV registration periods in 2003, 2005 and 2006, there were registrants who wrote down the Philippine Embassy in their forms as their forwarding address. For this reason, the COMELEC forwarded their electoral mails containing election ballots and materials to the Embassy. Below is a list of absentee voters whose mails were received on 11 April 2007 . If you know anyone of them or you have somebody who knows anyone of them, please advise him/her to visit the Embassy during regular working days and working hours to claim their ballots from any of the members of the Embassy?s Special Ballot Reception and Custody Group (SBRCG): Mr. Aquino Sultan, Ms. Asela Manggis, or Ms. Cherry Narvaez-Bondad. During weekends and holidays, however, duty officers will be assigned to release these electoral mails to individual voters from 3:00-5:00 in the afternoon, PROVIDED, s/he shows sufficient proof of identity like a valid Philippine passport, COMELEC voter?s ID, or any Philippine ID with photo. Electoral mails will not be released to any other party except to the voter. It is important that these registered voters claim their ballots and send them to the Embassy either by mail or deliver personally in time for the closing of the ballot boxes on 14 May 2007 , 2:00 pm , Thailand local time.
