Lango sa kasiyahan ang kaniyang gitara, pakisap-kisap ang satori sa kaniyang bisig at galang-galangan, samantalang bihag ng kaniyang tinig ang lahat ng salaghati ng aming simoy. Dumating siya isang gabi, habang natutunaw na buntala ang aming paningin. Parang mga babaeng umiindak ang kaniyang mga daliri habang tumitipa, noong una?y marahan, banayad at maingat kumilos

hanggang bumilis, bumilis at gumaslaw, lumandi?t rumikit. Pagdaka?y nanumbalik ang aming sigla, kumawala ang hiyaw sa mga lalamunan, kinalampag ang mga mesa, sumiklab na elektrisidad ang palakpakan.

Tagaibang lupalop siya, siya na may musika na waring angkop sa aming daigdig: nakapagbubulay kami sa umaalugnignig niyang mga kuwerdas; sa matarling ngunit matatalim niyang tagtag tigtig tugtog.
